Jonathan is relatively new as an agent, having gotten his license in 2020 and became a Realtor® shortly after, specifically focusing on new home buyers as he can closely relate to the stresses and pitfalls of 1st time home buying with the experience being so fresh to him. What that's done is make him want to go the extra mile to make sure the process is as comfortable and easy as possible and that they know that someone is looking out for them. First off, what defines him most right now is that he is the proudest new father of a sweet and spunky 1-year-old girl, who has forever changed his life for the best! He came to San Diego from Northern California in 2005 for school and has been everywhere since, all up and down the coast for the past 16 years, living and working all over San Diego County.
In 2019 his wife and Jonathan bought their first house in Oceanside on the edge of a 100-acre tomato farm near Guajome Lake. Over the past couple of months, they have been remodeling it with a new deck and four seasons room, as well as childproofing anything within their baby's reach! Previous to being a Realtor® he has had many roles that have shaped his life and professional experiences. A couple of the more moving positions that influenced him were training condemned dogs at the SPCA, working as shelter coordinator at an 80 bed homeless and schizophrenic shelter, counseled and then supervised counselors at a level 4 residential treatment facility for teens and young adults, and likely the most difficult and tiring role, he substitute-taught second graders. Finally, and most recently he owns and operates a kayak and paddleboard rental company, which has become mobile and slowed operations in the wake of the pandemic.
In his free time, Jonathan loves to spend all the time he can with his family and dogs, he also loves to surf, kayak, run, play sports, listen to personal development, draw and write. This is all probably too much nonprofessional info, but this is truly what has defined him in the past 15 years and he would love to have an opportunity to help make any of your buying or selling goals or fantasies become reality.
