You might say that real estate is in my blood. As a child, I was inspired by my father, who sold commercial real estate in Anchorage during the 1970’s. I also share his passion for a deal well made, and a commitment to uniting buyers and sellers. With undergraduate degrees in Culinary Arts and Business Administration – Economics from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and a Master of Business Administration from Penn State, I have wide-ranging interests and a commitment to education. Married to Tony Klancher since 1990 and mother of our four grown children, I left a career in corporate finance for full-time motherhood in 1996. When our youngest child started kindergarten, I began working in the Anchorage School District and continue to substitute teach, primarily at the high school level, on a regular basis. Over the years I’ve served on numerous charitable boards and organizations, from the League of Women Voters, to the presidency of a homeowner’s association, to coaching girls’ hockey. I enjoy my book club, hiking, hockey, yoga and experimenting in the kitchen. I’m also known for my Alaska State Fair blue-ribbon jams and jellies. Call me today and let me make your new home a reality!
