After leaving high school, I attended a business school and then worked for 1 year before I deciding to join the Womens' Royal Naval Service. I served in a support capacity for HQ Commando Forces Royal Marines in Plymouth for nearly 3 years which included the time during the Falkland Islands Conflict, though my role was miniscule as I was safe and sound somewhere underground in London. Shortly thereafter I served with the NATO forces in Naples, Italy and enjoyed working with the Italians, Greeks, Turks, French and Americans. That was where I met my husband who was stationed at the American Naval Hospital. The rest is history, we married, had 3 lovely boys, did a tour with the USMC at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, then a tour in Rota, Spain and in 1991 arrived here in Connecticut and we haven't left since!Communities I ServeI travel and work in the following areas: New London, Groton, Waterford, Gales Ferry, Ledyard, Norwich, Yantic, Bozrah, East Lyme, Old Lyme, Salem, Montville, Sprague, Preston, North Stonington, Stonington, Mystic, Colchester, Voluntown, Griswold and Jewett City.
