A modest cabin sells for roughly $500,000 with new construction priced closer to or well above $1,000,000 depending on the neighborhood and the community amenities. Lakefront homes start at $3,000,000 and it's not uncommon to see lakefront estates over $20,000,000. There can be huge differences in value within each subdivision and even along each street.
