Asif Raza - Real Estate Agent

My name is Asif Raza. I was born in Karachi Pakistan, then family moved to England, where my 3 younger brothers were born. My dad was a pilot. He passed away when I was 16 years old. My mother was part German. She passed away in 2019. I grew up in Aurora, IL. Lived in Texas for a few years. I went to Northern Illinois University and put myself through college by waiting tables at Olive Garden Restaurant in Aurora, IL and weekend MMA (lots of pain, but lots of fun and good money). My nick name was Ace for a long time. I wanted to be an engineer from a very young age. I worked hard and graduated in 1999. I moved from Illinois to Memphis in 2003, set up and ran a Distribution Center for a startup company. In 2004 I started my own consulting firm as a Managing Partner/Principal Engineer. Companies hired us to design-build-retrofit Distribution Centers and manufacturing plants and implement automation systems and manage large engineering projects. I have been involved in real estate mostly commercial & Industrial for 10 years, not as a realtor but as a client representing companies. I managed leasing, contracts, and negotiations, design, and buildouts. Now as an affiliate broker, I am involved with residential as well. I am married to a love of my life from South Africa. She has made Memphis her home for the last 30 years. We have 2 boys, who are born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. They both attend Houston High School. Both my boys are blackbelt in Karate. They enjoy bodybuilding, hanging out with friends playing basketball and having sleepovers. All of us are you can say gym rats. Older is prepping to go to college next year, 2022, and younger one is in 9th grade. My wife works at Regional One, she is an Occupational Therapist. She is passionate about her work and is well known in the healthcare arena. We both like to cook and watch movies and just hang out. We participate as a family in food drives and helping the less fortunate.
