Growing up in the 80's had such an impact with how I became to love real estate. Many new homes and neighborhoods were coming up during these years. My parents would take their weekends to go and explore all the new construction close by. Thats were it all began. Houston was always our home base but we moved around a lot when I was a kid. We would move away and then return, move again and return again. We finally came back to Houston for good when I was 14 years old. My uncle was a residential property inspector and asked me to come work the summers with him once we got back to Houston. At 14 years old I got to help my uncle crawl in attics and on roofs, check home appliances, make sure outlets were grounded, and a few other tasks he assigned me. I still carry today many of the things I learned while helping my uncle for those summers as a kid. I always wanted to have a life long career in real estate. But, when I expressed my passion to my uncle and the rest of my family, they all said I need to focus on something more stable. They said real estate is too much of an up and down market and I would never be able to make a good living. So, with that depressing news I chose to make a career in healthcare. I worked directly with patients for over 15years and heard many life stories. I loved listening and being able to help with peoples needs. This is my passion in life. Helping others is my comfort zone. I took all of my past learning years and used that to create my business as of today. Understanding a persons needs and wants is important in my work. It's all about connecting and truly listening with a passionate heart.
