Kumi has a great passion for helping others and an endless drive to make dreams into reality. Through her experience in relocating her grandfather across the country, searching many places to finally find the “perfect home” and move him into a great place close to family, she has the same commitment and drive to helping you find your dream home!
Kumi volunteered at her local church and completed the Los Angeles marathon two years in a row. Her perseverance and dedication shows her commitment to helping you through any unexpected challenges with love and support.
She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in International Relations
Kumi worked for a local Japanese Newspaper, Sankei Shimbun, interviewing celebrities and covering red carpet events in Los Angeles. While at Sankei Shimbun, she had the opportunity to cover the devastating Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
Fluent in both Japanese and Spanish, Kumi used her language skills at Toyota Tsusho America, Inc, for 8 years, keeping the production plant running in Tijuana, Mexico for the tire and wheel assembly of Tacoma trucks. Kumi also worked in a small senior community as an Activities Director where she was licensed as Administrator for Residential Care Facility for the Elderly.
Kumi received her Real Estate license and partnering with Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. With over 20 years of sales experience, ceaseless endurance, a personal commitment and promise to give her clients only the best quality, Kumi makes it a personal mission to ensure that home buying and selling is a seamless and enjoyable process while providing continuous support from start to finish and guaranteeing that you are in good hands. In her spare time, Kumi loves hiking trails, fishing with her husband, running, gardening, painting murals and making pottery.
