Although Jennifer’s dive into real estate is new, interest and expertise in homes runs deep and wide in her family. One grandfather was a builder, the other a mason contractor, and her father was a bricklayer who built his own dream home. Her husband, Dave, earned his degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, is a licensed builder, and has been a home inspector for more than 25 years. Together they contracted the building of their own home. This interest in homes has carried forward in their children, who are pursuing careers in interior design, landscaping, and the building trades. As a long-time resident of Southeast Michigan Jennifer possesses a vast knowledge of the area. After graduating from Cass Technical High School, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, and a teaching certificate at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Jennifer took her talents to Seattle where she taught Spanish and English while earning a Master of Librarianship at the University of Washington. After the birth of her first child, Jennifer knew she had to move back home to Michigan, where she was a librarian and a Spanish teacher in the Southgate Community School District from 1997 until retiring in June of 2021. She spent decades helping students, now she can’t wait to help you!
