Cindy has served as President of the Kankakee-Iroquois-Ford Association of Realtors. Cindy has served on many committees for the association including Professional Standards, Grievance, Multiple Listing Service, Program and Entertainment, Public Relations, RPAC/Government Affairs, and Home Buyers Fair.

Cindy Schimmel was named Realtor of the Year for 2017-18 for Kankakee, Iroquois, Ford Association of Realtors and honored

by Illinois Association of Realtors in Springfield.

Cindy Schimmel is a Team Leader for the Music Ministry of her church.

Cindy Schimmel is on the Women of Grace Leadership Team for the Women's ministry in her church.

Cindy is married to John Schimmel and they have 3 children and 11 Grand children.

Cindy Schimmel began working at Coldwell Banker with her Father, Milton DeYoung in 1995 and worked with him for about 8 years. He was a retired farmer and was in Real Estate approximately 20 years after retiring.

Cindy was a stay at home Mom. She worked part time in her home teaching piano to many students.
