I met my wife, Renee, in 2011 when we first got hired on as police officers for the City of Mansfield. We ended up dating, getting engaged, moving in together, and getting married. Renee was head over heels in love with...renovating houses. She watched HGTV non-stop and was always finding an excuse to buy new tools to start new projects. It evolved into getting her real estate sales agent license and signing up with RE/MAX Associates in 2014. She learned the ropes quick, working part time real estate while still on patrol with the department. In 2016, we welcomed our first daughter and decided it was time for Renee to transition into full time real estate. She continued to excel in her new career while staying on as a reserve police officer with Mansfield. As her career grew, so did my work behind-the-scenes. I was learning real estate photography, videography, marketing, and branding to help keep her momentum growing. There's no argument her success is by far her own doing, but as my role continued to grow it became clear that it was time to look into becoming a full time husband and wife team. In 2018, we welcomed our second daughter. I obtained my FAA commercial drone pilot license and in 2019 I received my real estate sales agent license. We became a completely debt free household and then it was time to make a move. I'm excited to join Renee with RE/MAX Associates of Mansfield. It not only allows us the challenge of running our own business together but allows us to spend more time with the family...and I get to spend more time on my side-hustle-media-business. Renee still enjoys getting into her patrol uniform, and I still have the bug to serve...so while we are running our real estate business she still volunteers on patrol and I still volunteer on SWAT. We have a lot to balance (I'm still enlisted in the Air National Guard, too) but we are enjoying every step of our journey!
