Personal Background

As a resident of Scotch Plains/Westfield area for 20 years, I have enjoyed being an active member of the community. Our six kids are growing up here - which gives me familiarity with local schools and childrens' activities. Prior to taking care of my children, I earned my Bachelor of Engineering from Vanderbilt University and worked as a licensed professional structural engineer in New York at Severud Associates Consulting Engineers, P.C. In 2012, I completed a four-year term on the Scotch Plains Town Council, serving as Deputy Mayor for a year and a half and closed out my term with a six month stint as Mayor. Currently, I serve on the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA Board of Directors as President.

As your Realtor, I look forward to using my varied experience to help home owners prepare and sell their homes in our great suburban market. My enthusiasm and knowledge also helps buyers find their new dream home.
