"Nothing is absolute. Everything changes, everything moves, everything revolves, everything flies and goes away." This quote, by Frida Khalo, is one of my favorite quotes. I moved to the United States from Pakistan when I was seven years old. It was a cultural shock for me, as I had to learn a new language, adapt to a different culture, and make new friends. The experience of moving to the United States taught me how important it is to adjust to new surroundings. This mindset has served me well in both my personal and professional endeavors.

I grew up in Danbury Connecticut and my formative years in Danbury had a profound impact on me. I learned to appreciate different cultures, build and value relationships, and learn new things. While growing up, my family and I didn't have much. This motivated me to pursue higher education at any cost. I attended Post University in Waterbury on a scholarship and worked full-time to pay for expenses.

I have been married for 7 1/2 years and I owe my success to my wife. She persuaded me to complete the MBA program at the University of Connecticut. My wife also encouraged me to pursue a career in real estate.

When I am not working, I love to golf, go on long bicycle rides, and go to the beach. I enjoy traveling, both domestically and internationally. Some of the countries I have recently visited include Turkey, Bali, Vietnam, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia. My favorite place that I have visited is Hawaii as it is a truly magical place. I am looking forward to traveling again in the future.

Lastly, I am ecstatic about starting my real estate journey with the Coldwell Banker Realty Ridgefield and Redding offices. My life experiences have taught me to be humble. In my opinion, being humble helps build trust and facilitates learning, which are critical aspects of leadership and personal development.
