Spending much of Nikki ’20s in pursuit of becoming a dietitian, she found herself switching gears after taking a gig with an investment group buying foreclosures. With this company, Nikki was introduced to the investment side of real estate where she learned home to comp, ARV values, what makes a good investment property, and foreclosures. The part-time job naturally transformed into a full-time love for the industry, and a few years later she got her license. “The rest is history”, she says.
Nikki’s investment experience coupled with her Colorado roots makes her someone you want on your side when buying or selling a home. “I love educating my clients on design, what projects can create the biggest return, and remodeling. I try to help people look past cosmetic things like bad paint, tile, floors, and ultimately see the bigger picture. Sometimes little cosmetic touches here and there can take an average-looking home and make it stunning. I would say that’s my specialty. And same on the sales side. I’ll go in and help a client organize, give them little projects to do, offer to the stage, and show them that could be the difference in what you can net on your home sale.”
When not working hard for her clients, Nikki can be found spending time with her sister and two beautiful nieces with whom she’s very close. She proclaims herself a “foodie” and loves trying new restaurants and attending happy hours. Nikki and her husband live on a golf course and spend much of their free time swinging clubs and enjoying the course. She and her husband have 3 dogs and are about to welcome their first baby into the world. “This means lots of remodeling to achieve our dream home in time for the little one!”
