Kourtney brings her knowledge in Elder Law to the table for seniors and older adults in search of specific housing that meet customized daily lifestyles. Prior to joining Compass, she worked as a paralegal in a firm with well-known Certified Elder Law Attorneys in the Houston, Texas area. Her love for seniors only grew from there and her skill set in the Elder Law community allows her to seek the best housing opportunities for her clients while utilizing her specialized knowledge in reverse mortgages, IRAs and 401(k) accounts for transactions.
Kourtney is a certified Senior Real Estate Specialist® and a member of Texas Realtors®. Her mother never lets her forget that she is a fourth-generation native Houstonian and a natural-born Texan. Kourtney grew up in Friendswood, Texas, and moved to Camp Pendleton for a couple of years to be with her husband until he was honorably discharged from the USMC. She, her husband, baby boy, and two dogs now reside in Manvel, Texas.
With a mere expectancy of fifty percent of today's population being over 65 by 2050, Kourtney believes older adults need the utmost attention and support. With her knowledge in the law, attention to detail, and dedication to all her clients, Kourtney prides herself on the ability to effectively help manage the financial and emotional difficulties of selling a family home or simply preparing for the future.
