About Me

Jim Roberts, a native of the Bay Area, was raised on the Peninsula and currently lives in San Jose with his wife Kim and their 4 children.  A graduate of Palo Alto High School and UC Santa Barbara, Jim started his real estate career in 1986.  Jim's calm and easy demeanor, coupled with his zest and enthusiasm for life,  were well cultivated by his upbringing in Suburban Palo Alto.   He is very involved in the community, and is a member of Kiwanis which has a focus on local and global children's causes. His volunteer activities have included Relay for Life, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Habitat for Humanity, and Kiwanis Special Games and my role as a Key Club advisor. 

In his initial year as full-time Realtor®, Agent Name earned honors as “Rookie of the Year”.  Since then, Jim has established himself as a leader in residential real estate.  Over the years, Jim has ranked TOP 1% among NRT (Coldwell Banker’s parent company) agents worldwide (over 45,000 agents) and received the “International President’s Elite” award--an esteemed designation earned by only an elite few Coldwell Banker sales associates worldwide.

I`m a corporate transfers relocation specialist and have assisted over 150 company employees and their families in their relocation. If you are relocating, my relocation package will be delivered in 24 Hours. 

I specialize in finding opportunities such as distressed properties: these may include fixer uppers, foreclosures, court approved sales and short sales. I enjoy the challenges of a move-up or move-down situation, where timing, pricing and marketing is critical in the buying and selling process.

I specialize at representing sellers, utilizing all my experience in marketing and negotiations to maximize their bottom line. Over my career, I have sold income property, commercial, acreage, new developments, and resale residential. I have assisted seniors in making educated decisions regarding relocation,investment choices, 1031 exchanges and tax base transfers.
