Dana - Real Estate Agent

Dana Guzzetti grew up in Berkeley and Pleasant Hill where she graduated from Pleasant Hill High School, worked at Martinez Bank of America, and started a family.

With plans for a law career, she earned B.A. in Political Science at Cal State East Bay and became a real estate agent in Aptos to help finance graduate school.

To her surprise, she loved the quest for a home, solving problems for her clients, and a self-directed, flexible schedule. In time she moved moved to Carmel, where she became co-owner of an office there and in Contra Costa for 20 years.

Market forces and family eventually drew her back to the East Bay, leading to a career change. She earned a Television Arts Certificate at Diablo Valley College, produced the "Minding Your Business” small business talk show, and began reporting local news in cities from Danville to Martinez. The business experience garnered from more than 25 renovation projects, innumerable real estate transactions, and understanding of construction and architecture helped to enrich her stories.

However, recent technological advances have changed media/news business, causing Dana to return to her first love, real estate.

Now she can offer the enthusiasm of a new agent, the knowledge of experience, and a genuine interest in a happy ending to her client’s real estate story.
