About Cynamin VanLue
Cynamin was born and raised in Kansas. She grew up with family, summering in the La Veta/Cuchara, Colorado area, where she fell in love with its majestic mountains, wholesome people, family traditions, and enchanting wildlife. She has five generations of family who have built their lives creating memories in Colorado. Cynamin met her husband Jim, a La Veta native and Air Force veteran in Cuchara. After marrying in 1991, the newlyweds moved all over the United States inhabiting: Arizona, California, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Illinois. Finally, in 2010, Cynamin and her family were called back to the only place that ever felt like home, Cuchara. Cynamin is the mother of three boys, two who are La Veta High School alumni and one son is currently a senior at La Veta High.
Jim and Cynamin started "The Cuchara Country Music Festival," which was successful for three years in Cuchara. In 2016, the festival relocated to the La Veta Airport all
