In early 2001 she was the acting Director of Leasing for a privately held 8 building portfolio including office, retail and industrial type properties. She was instrumental in overseeing the construction, leasing and management and in 2004 she continued her commercial real estate career in Illinois with Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT representing Sellers/Landlord and Buyers/Tenants. She acquired 350,000 square feet of office space within a few months and directed the leasing and marketing efforts. Her in-depth experience in Landlord and Tenant Representation brought her to becoming Number 8 in the Midwest Region in 2009. This was during a downturn in the market. She has negotiated hundreds of transactions over the past 30 years and brokered thousands of square feet of Commercial Real Estate.

She has represented properties in excess of 1.5MM square Mixed Use, including Office, Retail, Residential and Hospitality. She represents Sellers, Landlords, Investors, Purchasers and Tenants for the acquisition and disposition of Commercial properties.

Experience

She started her career with The Farr Companies developing a 1.5M square foot project, Lafayette Centre, in Washington, DC, a mixed-use project, 75% office and 25% retail. Notable tenants included ATT, Union Pacific and Paine Weber. Skilled in Tenant Representation since the 1980s representing such clients as the National Education Association, Franklin Covey Cornell University, and many other corporations, associations, law firms, non-profit organizations and defense contractors.
