About Me
Hi there! I'm Steve Young, a passionate real estate agent based in Charleston, SC. Born in Roanoke, Virginia, I moved to Greenville, SC, at the age of 6 and later came to Charleston for college in 1982. Initially planning to pursue nursing, I switched to a business major with a minor in theater. During college, I started a catering business, which I ran until 1994, and also worked at State Farm for 5 years. In 1994, I transitioned into real estate full-time and have been an avid investor and studied agent for my clients ever since.
My Journey in Real Estate
I began my real estate career with Coldwell Banker, then moved to an independent company before co-founding Coldwell Banker Coastal Properties in 2003. As a co-owner, I led our relocation department, collaborating with several corporations and Cartus. In 2008, my partners and I sold our company to a larger Coldwell Banker, where I continue to serve as an agent.
